Funeral services in memory of Frank Mahan, 75, life-long Montgomery  County farmer, who died Friday from a heart attack at his farm home on  RFD 6, Crawfordsville will be held at Liberty Church in charge of Rev.  John R. Servies.  Exact hour of the services, however, is uncertain  pending the arrival of his son, Victor, from Seward, Alaska.  Mr. Mahan  was the father of four sons and one daughter, Mrs. Mahan died in 1907.   Other sons are C. Raymond Mahan of Crawfordsville; Russell B. Mahan of  Lafayette and Edgar Mahan of Indianapolis.  The daughter Mrs.Harold  Titus resides in Lafayette. The body will remain in the Utterback and  Bright Funeral Home here until the hour of the service which will be  determined later. - transcribed by kbz

Frank MAHAN of near Liberty and a brother-in-law of Mrs. TS BANTA  died Friday night at his home of a heart attack. Four sons and a  daughter survive. Mrs. Mahan died 1907. The funeral was conducted  Wednesday at the Liberty Church of which he was a member by the Rev.  John Servies. Mr. Mahan had resided throughout his entire life time on  the farm where he died.  - transcribed by kbz
